Most carpet cleaning is sold as an adjective. DanCare publishes the actual sequence, so here it is, unedited. The room behind this list is one they finished.

- Covering wood floorsEverything the hose crosses gets covered, so the job never leaves a mark on the way in.

- Pre-treating spots and traffic areasStains and traffic lanes get worked before the main pass, not during it.

Most major carpet manufacturers require steam cleaning on a regular schedule to keep their warranty intact. Eco-friendly green products are available on request, on any of the cleaning services.

Navajo, Persian, silk, wool
We repair rugs, we don't just wash them.
Edge surging and binding. Fringe replacement and hole reweaving. Custom rug pads, moth repellent, water and mildew work, and appraisals and evaluations. Handmade and machine-made both. In a city where a Navajo weaving might be the most valuable thing in the house, that is not a line item.
